German Eastern Lands in a WAllied Dominated Post-War Peace Treaty

Okay, let's say that, for whatever reason, that Britain, France, and America(and the rest) had complete control over the peace proceedings. What were they likely to do with the lands historically ceded to Poland(and Russia)? This would mean that Poland would not lose her Eastern lands to the USSR.

1) Cede them all to Poland anyway? Polan Uber Alles?

2) Make them a part of whatever German successor state nearest them? I don't think in a world where Russia was irrelevant in the Post-War world that Germany had much of a chance of staying a united country.

3) A little bit of both.

The PoD is Dec. 11th 1941.

This isn't a What If. This is merely asking what were the desires of the men in charge of the WAllies in this capacity.

How much control do the WAllies have on the proceedings? Did Patton march in Berlin? How far did the Soviets advance (or not advance) in this WI before meeting with WAllies?

In any case, if there were any signs that Stalin would pursue a Third World War (and he'll do much to give that impression), they'll give him whatever he wants, and even throw Poland under the bus anyway. That said, a democratic Poland would be a start in their demands, likely with all of East Prussia and maybe the Oder-Neisse if it's still forced to give up its eastern lands.

Fro Walies to have complete control of peace process you need Soviets knocked out of the war Brest-Litovsk style. In this case almost certainly Germany gets nuked, btw. Western Allied Poland would get the East Prussia almost for sure, and most probably the rest of Upper Silesia.

According to Wikipedia:
Originally, Germany was to retain Stettin, while the Poles were to annex East Prussia with Königsberg (now Kaliningrad). The Polish government had in fact demanded this since the start of World War II in 1939, because of East Prussia's strategic position that allegedly undermined the defense of Poland.[citation needed] Other territorial changes proposed by the Polish government were the transfer of the Silesian region of Oppeln and the Pomeranian regions of Danzig, Bütow and Lauenburg, and the straightening of the border somewhat in Western Pomerania.

This is a start, though I am not sure how these demands would line up on a map.

As for the Soviet Union, we could have Stalin enact a minor Purge following the fall of Stalingrad (he nearly did in OTL I believe, and one of those targets would have been Georgy Zhukov), followed by his death or assassination depending on how you want to go about it, leading to destabilization on both the political and military fronts. The Soviet Union would be considerably weakened but could recover in time, and the Germans would have a crucial period of time to recover from the losses incurred from the Caucus Campaign or fortify their positions.

In this way Germany would still be defeated with major commitments to the Eastern Front, but it is also possible that the Western Allies could push up to or even past the Oder River.
