Flag of Alter. Fed. Rep. America 2.png

MSPaint FTW!

Current idea for this flag is that it is the Flag adopted for America at the height of a more progressive, well, Progressive era after a new Constitution is passed. The Constitution enshrines a number of the tenants of Progressivism and other left-leaning initiatives (e.g. better labor laws, anti-corruption, better racial justice, etc.). The Name of the country is also changed to The Federal Republic of America, so as to be different. :D Actually the name change is to signify a switch to a some what more centralized government as compared to what existed back in the 18th century; the lack of symbolism referring to number of states on the flag reflects this as well.

The three stars stand for Liberty, Equality, and Justice. The Colors represent the same as OTL flag.

This may or may not appear in some form or the other in a timeline I may or may not do in the future.

Here a flag I made for my NS nation. Basically it the flag of the Commonwealth of Plata. It where the British were successful in taking Argentina and Uruguay and making it into a British colony, then dominion and then a nation like that of Canada. Except it is bilingual in English and Spanish and is very developed.

I guess the problem I have with the design is that because it is a (I assume) banner of arm defaced with the Union flag and that the base design is itself a cross overlayed on a divided background, it looks like what you are looking at is 3 layers. I think it might work better if the Union Flag was in chief (like on the flag of British Columbia) along the hoist or if the burgundy cross and stripes were uses as a badge like on other british dominion ensigns.

Adopted by the Atlanta Soviet on August 4th, 1934, this was the flag flown during the American Revolution.

Flag of the United Socialist Republics, 1949-????:

The Soviet-American split in 1949 set a new path for the American socialist project.

The three star design represents the incompleteness of the two previous American revolutions (the American War of Independence and the American Civil War), and how they paved the way (dialectal materialism and all that) for the "final" American revolution. The hammer and sickle was removed due to the association with Bolshevism and the USSR, which had been deemed, respectively, revisionist, and a degenerate worker's state.

Flag of the Holy Khaganate of Mongolia, established after the Xinhai Rebellion, adopted in 1927 after the war with Northern Qing. Black and white bands represent the Tug banners of ancient Mongolia, and a version with the black side up is used during war, while blue represents the sky. In the center is the emblem of the Buddha.

Gaelic Union of Ireland, a unified Ireland long before the English, it was never separated in this timeline

Blue represents the blue sky and the heaven above. Gold/yellow is a traditional color of Columbianism, borrowed from its Buddhist roots. White represents the divinity and purity of the Valkyries.
Ah, I've noticed Columbianism is very eclectic with it's traditions, very befitting of America, perhaps that's how The Great Architect and Archangel Columbia intended
