Marc, I have to say, I'm usually a fan of your flags, but, to be honest, that's not your best work. It looks kind of cheap with the small white stripes.

Of course, I probably couldn't do any better myself.

I wasn't entirely sure about the white stripes, I thought by making them small and more toward the center it would emphasise that they were the important part.

My original idea was this one with 8 red stripes spaced equally divided by stripes that were each half the size.

I got the ring flag from one of the proposed flags of Earth, here's all the rings as the same color. Any better?

Here's an alternate design with an angular swastica and a bit of gold for more color

And here's my second attempt at an New Illinois flag. I went with Pan-African colors and took the stars form thand Centennial flag of Illinois

And here's my attempt at a flag for South Ireland. I took the otl Ireland colors and applied them to a different design

I like all of these. Not sure which one I want to go with for Europa. My favorite is definitely South Ireland.
Think this flag would be used by the Republic, and a nationalist banner but not the official flag of the colony. So once independence happens in the 40s, this flag would be adopted.

It's is first and foremost a flag for Eckner, so unless he wants the colors change it stays as it is

This. Honestly, it is a much more likely banner than the battle standard for a successful CSA.

This design is pretty nice and believable, but may I suggest making the lines of the circle thinner and resizing the star so that there's a bit of distance between it an the lines of the circle? Right now, the white in the blue canton kind of overwhelms the overall design in a way that's a bit unpleasant.

Flag of an alternate socialist People’s Republic of Bavaria. Maybe not traditionally socialist, because their variant of socialism quickly evolved into something similar to a Catholic social teaching, but their flag looks fairly traditionally socialist.

It looks kinda Communist. Is this due to a revovlytion or two, or just conincedence?

At first it looked more like a flag for a communist Latin American country like Peru than a CSA.
