Duke Philip III of Burgundy and his wife Isabella of Portugal have another son, Jean (b. 1434). In 1453, Jean is married to Anna of Lorraine (a younger sister of Margaret of Anjou who died young IOTL, but here, her death is butterflied) and he becomes the father of a young woman named Emma of Burgundy (Mary of Burgundy's paternal cousin, born in 1459), who at the age of three, is betrothed to Archduke Maximilian of Austria (a betrothal favored by Duke Philip, who wants to keep Emperor Friedrich as far away from France as possible). Mary, on the other hand, is betrothed to Richard, Count of Montfort (a son of Anne of York and Francis II of Brittany, and the older brother of Anne of Brittany).

Richard of York becomes King due to Edward of Westminster being born a girl (and betrothed to Edward IV, who is invested as Prince of Wales).

Charles the Bold and Margaret of York have a son, Philip, who displaces Mary as heiress and later marries Maximilian's younger sister Kunigunde. Empress Eleanor survives past 1467 and gives birth to another son, Rudolf (rightfully named for Rudolf the Founder).

Butterflies abound, and with them, chaos.
