In looking through the PCL site I came across a map I had seen before but forgotten about which shows Afghanistan and Pakistan and the Pushtun areas as well as showing the 1893 Durand Line and where the modern border deviates from it:
I've been trying to find out when the border changed but so far I have found nothing. Everything I've read indicates that the line was demarcated between 1893 and 1896 and hasn't changed since. So does anybody know anything about this border change or if perhaps the 1893 line was changed during the demarcation by 1896?
