Diplomacy in Pre-Napoleon Europe, Sources?

I am looking for some resources on European diplomacy shortly before and during the napoleonc wars. (Roughly end of seven years war to congress of Vienna)

Both English and German would be fine.

Also, something about the warfare in the period for someone without much clue concerning miltary matters would be nice.

The Transformation of European Politics (1763-1848) by Paul W. Schroeder might have what you need for the diplomacy part. No idea about the warfare though.
