Lets say the Soviets take over Europe after taking out the
germans, to make this more realistic lets say america did not
get involved in the european conflict for some reason.
What would life in europe be like? Would this make the soviet
union collaspe earlyer or keep it going on to current day?

In my attempt to flesh out the background of Freedom Fighters, I had the Soviets organize Western Europe (including Switzerland) into the United Soviet Europe, inspired by an idea that Trotsky had of creating a United Soviet States of Europe. After a deal of the European nations were balkanized (Great Britain split into its component nations, for example), Paris was made the capital of the USE. The USE was given a certain amount of domestic sovereignty, but it's military and foreign policy were under the command of Moscow.
