This is my attempt at a TL,where a Romania is build as a country where no one is discriminated base upon her or his ethnicity,religion or gender.

Alexandru Ioan Cuza in office 1859 1869
Is elected president of Wallachia and Moldavia thus begin the process of union between the two which will lead the the formation of the Federal Romania,
A constitution build upon the proclamation of Islaz is adopted,the first constitution is adopted.
The Romanian Parliament and army are formed,Napoleonic ispied Civil and criminal codes are adopted
A tuition-free,Primiary school and compulsory public education is introduced in Romania
Second term of Cuza
Secularization of Church estates in Romania,as part of the agrarian reform,the reform marks dusk of the boyar class,the beginning of industialization in the county,
The first Banks and the national Bank is formed and a national currency is adopted.


Some of the most important provisions of the constitution where
- Separation of powers.
- The independence of the administration and legislature
- Equal rights of all
- The duration of a president can only be of 5 years and a term limit of two for each president.
- Formation of a national Parliament,with a mandate of 5 years.
- Emancipation of all inhabitants of Romania.
- Equal instruction
- Creation of an National army

EDIT : At the end of the Cuza's terms Romania had a GDP of 977,55 $ (comperd with the OTL 931)

Well is not the OTL Romania,since this Romania is a federal republic,OTL Romania was a kingdom,the for one constitution of this Romania gives citizenship to all inhabitant's.and yes a lot of things will look just like in OTL,the idea is to build it in more or less the same boundaries,but with a better social and economic.
Not to mention that people where discriminated,there will be in this TL but not as much,and the trend will be a descending one,so no Iron Guard government for one thing

An national rail company is established and the first rail's are build,
The establishment of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (OTL 1882)
The first telephone lines are installed (OTL 1884)
The most important event of the Rosetti administration was the participation in the war between the Russian Empire and the Ottoman one,the war ended with the Victory of the Russian.

What I meant was that OTL Romania actually is now:

It seems that you want to achieve it from the very beginning.
It is an intriguing concept, especially since that will make Romania unique among all the 19th century countries in the whole World.

I want to begin achieving it form the beginning,yes all got citizenship and the constitution states that all are equal,but it doesn’t mean that they are,so all that as been achieve is a stop from making things get worst (the constitution),but making them better will be a gradual process.

This is not OTL. OTL Romania is full of corruption and no friends surrounding them. This could rampantly give them a better country by 2015 ITTL.

The Mangalia naval shipping yard is build,
The first automotive and locomotive factories in the country are build.
A modern and designing to provided suitability forest and fisheries code is adopted.
A modern public satiation law is adopted,which will oblige city’s and town to the building of sewers among other things.
EDIT: Also a new agrarian reform is adopted,which encourages the formation associations,in an attempt to deal with fragmentation.
A minimum wage law is adopted.

Since the union to WWI Romania has mange to
Achieve a level of literacy of over 90% in both men and women,
(OTL the illiteracy level was 67% mean and 89% women)
There are three teachers for every thousand Romanian citizen (OTL was 1.15/1000)
Infant mortality rate of 155/1000 ( 222/1000 OTL or 30% lower morality)
A GDP per capita of 2.089 (OTL 1741 or 20% bigger )
A rail-road infrastructure of 4560 KM (OTL 3.800 or 20% bigger)

Ion I. C. Brătianu 1909-1919
Balkan League fights the Ottoman empire in the first Balkan war,it ends after seven mouths with the victory of the league.
29 June 1913 marks the begging of the second Balkan war,the war started with the attack of Bulgaria on here former allies Greece and Serbia,Romania remained neutral,encouraged by the success of Greece and Serbia the Ottomans entered the war.The war will end in 20 September 1913,with the Bulgarian defeat,as a result of the war The Ottomans gained eastern Thrace,Greece gained large parts of Epirus,Macedonia and Western Thrace,Serbia gained the northern part of Macedonia including upper valley of the Strumica.Bulgaria will remain neutral in the first world war.

For the first years of the war Romania remained neutral,an average prepender Romania eventually joined in August 1916.
After the initial success,the arrival central powers reinforcements,turned the war in to a static one.
The year 1917,brought withdrawal Russian Empire form the war,as a consequence of the Russian revolution,and the entry of US.The war ended a year later.

Romania expands here territory with Transylvania, Bukovina and Bessarabia.
Hungarian is give the status of equal language in the Székely Land,among other places in Romania.
Romania fights and defeats the Hungarian Soviet Republic.
After initial tension an agreement is reached with the Ukraine,by which Ukraine recognizes the borders of Romania while Romania obligates her self to arm and support the Ukraine in her struggle for independence.
A process of improving the relations with Germany and Austria begins shortly after the war.
