WI Andrew Jackson had decided to break with tradition and run for a third term in 1836?

How does he handle the Panic of 1837, The rebellion in the Canadas, the Texas Republic, Mexico, 'Indian' removal etc?

Had he run he might have changed the custom. And had he then ran and lost by a lot in 1840 maybe slavery politics would be different
