The Timurid Empire was one of the last Nomadic Empires in history before the Age of Gunpowder. Stretching from Central Asia to India and Persia, under its founder Tamerlane, the Timurid Empire was a powerhouse. Tamerlane would die to the common cold as he planned to invade Ming China, and bits of his empire broke away. However, the Timurid Renaissance saw the flourishing art and science in the Timurid Empire.
But the Timurids would fall into familial bickering, and the Safavids took over Iran, and the final deathblow came from the Uzbeks from the North, founding the Khanate of Bukhara. Yet, this wasn't the end for the Timurids, as one member, Babur, would found the Mughal Dynasty in India, which would last until the 19th Century.
While it would be easy to discuss "What if the Mughal Dynasty never fell", here's another question I propose: What if the Timurids survived in Central Asia as well? What if the Uzbeks failed, and the Khanates of Khiva and Bukhara never founded?
Or at least, for a challenge, how can we get that point, where the Timurids hold out in Central Asia (IE: Transoxiana, Khorasan).
Sidenote: The Mughals could also still be founded by Babur if possible.
