AHC: Have the USA go to war with the most countries possible throughout its existence

As the title states, your challenge is to have the US of A go to war with as many countries throughout its history as possible (win or lose doesn't matter so long as it is at least somewhat realistic)

Here is my go at at it; (Any countries that would have been at war multiple times will only be mentioned on their first time)

1776-1783 - United Kingdom (Revolutionary War)

1798-1800 - France, Netherlands, Switzerland (2nd Coalition, Quasi War)

1811-1815 - Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya (Barbary Wars)

1846-1848 - Mexico (Mexican-American War)

1853-1856 - Russia, Greece (Crimean War)

1860-1864 - China (Opium Wars, Taiping Rebellion)

1871-1873 - Korea (Korean Expedition)

1882-1884 - Egypt (Egyptian Expedition)

1898-1902 - Spain, Cuba, Philippines, Colombia (Spanish-American War, Philippine-American War, Thousand Days' War)

1914-1918 - Germany, Austria, Hungary, Turkey, Bulgaria (World War One)

1924-1934 - Dominican Republic, Haiti, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama (Banana Wars)

1939-1945 - Japan, Italy, Romania, Slovakia, Croatia, Thailand (World War Two)

1948-1950 - Palestine, Jordan, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Yemen (Arab-Israeli War)

1964-1974 - Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia (Vietnam/Indochina wars)

1984-1988 - Iran (Tanker Wars)

1992-1995 - Bosnia, Serbia, Montenegro (Yugoslav Wars)

2001-2021 - Afghanistan, Pakistan, Somalia (War on Terror)

Map-Chart-Map

(My scenario)

Does intervention in civil wars count? Rwanda, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Sudan could all be added.
I didn't include any interventions given the complexities of civil wars - the US would be working with the country to fight rebels or vice versa, rather than going to war with the nation as an entity
Do wars that didn't happen count? I figure that the Baltimore crisis escalating into a war with Chile could count,
Ooh cool! I didn't know about that, for sure that could be included

Maybe Malaysia as an extension of the wars in Indochina, if it goes Communist?

Would Finland count for the Crimean War? It was in personal union with Russia at the time

I think, in general, your best bet for this is for America to be a lot more intervention happy during the Cold War or an ATL Cold War. It could invade lots of countries in Africa, Latin America, or Asia as part of "containing communism".

Most plausible timespan would be during Cold War. In 19th century USA has not any reasons to participate much more wars than it did in OTL. I can't see USA joining to wars in Europe before WW1.

You might be able to get a more belligerent Cold War Era US if UN forces win the Korean War but Operation Ajax is a disaster. Having these two events occurring at basically the same time could make it conventional wisdom in Washington that the only way America can win is if they go "all in" and "do it properly". It would also mean that American troops could be placed right on the Chinese border and an anti-American Iran would appear on the world stage almost 3 decades earlier.

You could probably throw Sweden in there during World War One if the Russian admiral Essen got his way and 'contained' their fleet at Gotland (though there is a chance that having the entente seem more brutish in this way could sour a lot of Americans feelings towards them when compared to the reports of German massacres in Belgium, etc.)

It is pretty possible that USA would stay out on this case. And even if joins, might be that USA not declare war to Sweden. At end it didn't to do that for Finland during WW2. And Entente hardly can really complain since they are really dependent on US support.

Revolutionary War (1775-'83): United Kingdom. Same as OTL.

Barbary Wars (1785-'95; 1801-'05; 1815): Algiers, Morocco, Tripolitania, and assorted North African pirates. Same as OTL.

Wars of 1812 (1812-1814/1815): United Kingdom and Napoleonic France. Basically results in the same as OTL, British-American status quo peace in 1814 and French-American peace in 1815.

Mexican-American War (1846-1848): Mexico. Results in US annexing much more land than OTL, roughly corresponding to the 23rd or 24th Parallel. These become states between 1852-1868. Baja California is annexed into California proper, however.

Second Mexican War (1851-1852): Republic of the Yucatan and Mexico. Results in the US seizing Mexican Gulf ports until 1902 (the Mexicans seized them back in 1862 during the Civil War, and the US obviously had bigger fish to fry), and annexation of the Yucatan; becomes a state following the US Civil War (1861-1864).

US-Dominican War (1869): Dominican Republic. Resulted in the OTL proposal for the Dominican Republic to be annexed to pass due to the Republicans having a stronger presence in the formerly Mexican states for complicated political reasons. Becomes a state in 1876.

Wars of American Imperialism (1890-1898ish; these are grouped together for historical reasons): Haiti, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Columbia. Resulted in the US annexing each of these countries sans Columbia, where the US instead annexed the Panama province and the archipelago of San Andres, Providencia, and Santa Catalina (ITTL, this is split between the states of Honduras and Nicaragua). These states would be incorporated by the beginning of the 1920's.

Spanish-American War (1898): Spain. Literally the same as OTL, albeit maybe a bit faster. ITTL, the Spaniards also held control of OTL British Honduras, and this is seized as well. Later in the 1920's, the territory is given a referendum on whenever to be integrated into the Guatemalan Territory, the state of Yucatan, or become it's own state; it chooses the latter. Puerto Rico becomes a state in the 1950's.

Monroe's War (1915): UK, France, Netherlands, and Sweden (ITTL they own the island of Guadeloupe). Least amount of fighting thus far, and with the Great Powers occupied with the Great War, they quickly give up their colonial ventures in the New World (sans the UK's South American territories and France's Saint-Pierre and Miquelon). The Danish Virgin Islands were purchased shortly thereafter, with a slightly reduced cost to IRL. These become states (or are added to other states, namely the Virgin Islands) in the 30's, 40's, and 50's.

The Great War (1915-1917): Germany, Austria-Hungary, Poland, Lithuania, Ottomans/Turkey, Bulgaria, Greece, Jabal Shammar, Senussi, Darfur, Dervish Movement, Yemen, Qatar, Ukraine, Finland, Georgia, Courland, Belarus, Baltic Duchy, Crimea, the Northern Caucasus, and the Don Republic. Roughly the same as OTL, but the Central Powers are forced to capitulate shortly after the capture of Frankfort in late 1917, after defeating the Russians.
And so so so much more...
