So uhh, with a PoD before 1900 make the Filipinos "love" Spain so that rebellion will be minimal and the natives fought with the crown in SAW.

Double Bonus if Mexico still has strong ties with Spain.

Triple Bonus if you make her assist the crown in SAW.

Quad Bonus if a third front is opened in Mexico.

Quint Bonus if Spain, Mexico and Philippines wins the SAW.

Ultimate Bonus if WWI starts with SAW. [WTF ]

The biggest problem would be the Spanish colonization method.

There was no united nationalism in the Philippines before Bonifacio so any decolonization in any ATL before Bonifacio bringing about independence would result in the Balkanization of the Philippines...


Mindanao has driven out the spanish there before the defeat of the spanish in the spanish-american war..

The spanish could do something similar to what the Portuguese did in Timor and Flores, the spanish were fond of genociding and resettling/replacing people like they did in Mindanao, a policy copied by the Americans later on in their occupation of the Philippines.
