AHC: Communist Norway

Is it possible for the Soviets to 'liberate' Norway during WW2 and install a communist puppet government as they did with other nations they occupied during the war? Could the Soviets also do the same to Finland? What would be the effects of a communist, Soviet-aligned Norway on the Cold War? Would Sweden join NATO? Is any of this even possible at all?

They'd have to get though Finland first.

They did. Stopped after liberating part of Finnmark and asking the Norwegian Gov.-in exile to get troops in. Possibly no interest in trying to march down the lenght of Norway 1944-45 as the road and rail network wasn't as extensive. Lots of transport needed where roads and rail ends.

If they want to "liberate" Finland first then its a different ballgame with the Finns not playing nice and driving the Germans out themselves. Seems all a pragmatic Soviet solution to a difficult problem once the Finns asked to be let off fighting.
