AHC? BTTF altered 1955 effects on Rock and Roll

I'm not really sure if this is a challenge or not, but I was curious and wanted to see what you all had to say.

What effects does Marty's meddling have on Rock and Roll music? (Since Chuck Berry's cousin apparently gets his new sound from Marty himself.) Would Marty's 80s style guitar solo change anything or would it not a lot change?

Yes it would. There's also the fact that distortion wasn't actually used in 1955. So there's some historical inaccuracy there to start.
