Atenism (the worshipping of Aten) survives, doesn't need to be till the present but at least for a reasonable time, few hundred years at least.

I'm presuming you want it to continue as it was, so maybe avoid having Tutankhamun come to the throne so young, meaning his priests and ministers cant influence him so much and that prevents Atenism being discarded so quickly. Just an initial thought, might not have but I hope that helps alittle.

Well he an his immediate successors had several internal and external issues not to mention he moved away from the whole Pharoah is Divine concept.

And FYI, in the TL it DOES survive to the present day as a major religion. Though admittedly the ATL's "present day" looks extremely different from OTL's present day...
