AHC: April 11th, 1954 - The Least Boring Day Ever

Today marks the 62nd anniversary of the least notable day in history: Sunday, April 11th, 1954. An Oldham footballer died, a Turkish mathematican was born an a general election was held in Belgium...and that was about it.

Without invoking ASBs and with any PoD from the start of the 20th century make it so that April 11th, 1954 will live on in renown or infamy.

Simple-have the US launch airstrikes in support of the Dien Bien Phu garrison, beginning on April 11.

You are kidding right ? I've born in May 1982 and I can tell you, nothing remarkable happened that month (except for the Falkland war, admittedly). :D

What about having 34th President of the United States, Dwight David "Ike" Eisenhower, die from an earlier heart attack, with Richard Nixon, succeeding him.

Richard Nixon is president between April 11, 1953 and January 20, 1961.
