AH Challenge: Smallest possible Confederate States of America

All these forums seem to have the same standard independant CSA: the seceding states plus Kentucky. Occasionally New Mexico is thrown in, or if wanked out you'll get California and Maryland. What i want to see is the smallest CSA possible. Probably impossible without foreign intervention and a lot of luck, how small could it realistically get?
I'd imagine the new rump CSA would consist of a handful of core states, like the one with the most cotton.

Texas might leave, Virginia and the Upper-South might leave, Florida might leave, Louisiana might leave but I think that would be it. The smallest CSA that I think is feasable if a country made up of the States of South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi. If it gets any smaller than that then it will simply be the individual States becoming individual Countries.
