AH Challenge: Carribean ruled by the french

Create a scenario where the carribean is entirely dominated by the French, in some way, either as normal colonies, sattelite sates, within a sphere of total cultural influence or economically in some way. Any or all of the above.

Create a scenario where the carribean is entirely dominated by the French, in some way, either as normal colonies, sattelite sates, within a sphere of total cultural influence or economically in some way. Any or all of the above.

The French come out of the French-British colonial war 1756-63 with the upper hand, and finish the job in the Napoleonic Wars fifty years later.

All British overseas posistions are handed over to the French, the Dutch are/become part of the Empire (Napoleon's that is) and the Spanish are vassals. United Kingdom is abolished and instead the Kingdom of Scotland, the Grand Duchies of Wales and Eire, and the Duchies of Essex, Sussex, York, Lincoln, Warwick and Somerset are formed. Various members of Napoleons family and well-served field commanders get the vacant positions.

How would such a world develop beyond the death of Napoleon; what impact would such a scenario as you've just described have on the rest of world history? The changes must be enormous.

The carribean is an extremly diversified environment. It is not enough to get the english away from there. Still do the spanish own the largest island and half of the second largest. The netherland do own only small island, but they wwere quite important for the slave trade. Even the danish had one or two islands. I think it is impossible for one nation to control the carribean, if other don´t want them to. In OTL the spanish had it all, but it was very easy for the english and french to conquer the one or the other island (Jamaika was sacked rather accidently). The possesion of the smaller islands changed quite often.

To get one single nation to control the carribean, this aerea must become completly unintresting for any other nation. This is very difficult to construct, due to the centrality of the aerea in question.
