A Nestorian Christian Tibet?

Nestorian Christianity arrived to tibet as early as the 6th century, with Patriarch Timothy even considering to establish a Tibetan metropolitan.
So, WI Christianity won over Buddhism for the hearts of the Tibetans? How will it affect the rest of Asia? Remember that Tibet influenced Mongolia alot in terms of religion.

If so then it is going to be based around Qinghai and Gansu at first (Beth Tuptaye) - the area of Xixia had its centre over there; its long-term survival is to be dependent on Chinese policy towards Christians.

While Xixia could be Christian this does not necessarily mean that Lhasa and the upper Brahmaputra will be Christian as well. Due to more contact with India it is more likely it will remain Buddhist.

Buddhism almost disappeared in India, is it raely far fetched for it to never catch on or disappear in tibet? And also, if Tibet goes Christian then china will probably see a large Christian community as well, and will probably be a more Christian tolerant country.
