1759, The Annus Horribilus

While listening to "Heart of Oak" today, I got to wondering...what if the "wonderful year" of 1759 had turned out to be a series of disappointments rather than victories? Specifically:
  • The British garrison at Madras is defeated
  • The French fleet prevents/defeats the attack on Guadalupe
  • The French attack at Minden succeeds
  • La Clue safely gets his fleet to Cadiz
The most immediate butterfly is what happens with the Battle of Quiberon Bay, but what else do you see resulting from this year of failed attempts?

1759 is already an Annus Horribilus... in France.
