Ha, now I'm jealous, this would be pretty much exactly what I would have needed for a fictional country for my own story. Nice work.

I'm President the Head of Richard Nixon, and I approve this message, my fellow Earthican.

Ah, that's a good idea, thank you!

Yeah, although really more like assimilated. In this round of CK2, it was the result of Haesteinn of Nantes being more successful in his conquests and then converting to Christianity before his family eventually managed to usurp the Carolingian dynasty.

While we're talking about fictional scenarios, here's a flag for a D&D setting's Gnoll Confederation. For those unaware: gnolls are hyena-people, usually considered savage marauders but other times simply misunderstood. This setting opts for the latter. They've managed to form a loose...

The solution here I went for is one in which they're not Nazis; Germanic symbolism (unrelated to racial supremacy, here at least) and German national unification colors.

There was a good Polish one below mine on the same page, and here's an Italian one. Naturally, almost any nationalist Italian movement is bound to play up the Roman aspect, and the olive wreath and phoenix spell that out pretty plainly. (Though I imagine they often get asked, 'Is that Mexico?'...

Oh, yes. I just meant it was the artist's interpretation of the event, and presumably why they chose to portray it as such.

Which is because it's in the reign of James I and VI (who was Scottish, of course, and declared personal union over Great Britain).
