The rulers definately considered themselves to be successors to Augustus.
They never considered themselves to be descendents of Pericles and Alexander (Although some rulers thought they were Alexander reincarnated)
I made a similar joke in a thread about the Trent War. I made ridiculous borders, and I think you were the one who ripped into me. I swear I did it for the lulz, and I was trying to mock Neo-Confeds.
Except it is a bloody pain in the ass to mod. Over at TWCenter, they have a petition going around asking CA to make their games mod-friendly again.
My beef with "Vanilla" Total War games is their complete inaccuracy.
It's hardly unreasonable to assume that they would buy the dress uniforms THEMSELVES, like people do in modern militaries.
Officers don't usually get subsidies to buy uniforms. Yet they have no problem buying the Uniforms they are required to wear. Have any idea how much Marine Full Dress...
In that case, Napoleon is NOT screwed for mods. Making a new map is supposed to be much harder with the new file system, but isn't impossible. (Although I'd much rather mod Empire)
But as has been said before, why put anything other than Europe in a Napoleon game?
Is there some kind of reason you always say Town Destroyer instead of using his proper name?
I don't know any full-blooded Iroquois who use that name.
