    Brizzle (Bristol ) or the West of England - if I'm not mistaken I love the accents and different constructions which means you are truly in a foreign place.

    I think Berry / Ross becoming Motown's Anthony and Cleopatra had a lot to do with the decline. They looked for a superstar rather than a broad platform of fantastic acts.

    Possibly not as the Halifaxes OTL were underloaded to give their crews a chance at a par with the Lancasters. Eventually by 1945 BC was all Lancaster as the Dresden raid showed.

    I think that may be Freeman Dyson too, though his friend made a contribution that he successfully introduced a bigger forward escape hatch on the Lancaster.
