What if the Brexit Party won the Peterborough By-Election

When Labour MP for Peterborough Fiona Onasanya was convicted for preventing the course of justice in retaliation to a motering offence in 2017, she was expelled from the Labour party. A recall petition was passed in her constituency, triggering a by-election to determine the new MP for Peterborough.

Following theyre success in the previous European elections, the newly formed Brexit Party had gained quite a bit of momentum, and were favoured to win the seat. However, in OTL, labour managed to win with their new candidate, and the momentum of the Brexit Party was stopped in its tracks, leading to them winning 0 seats in the following General Election.

My question is, if Brexit Party candidate Mike Greene had been elected as MP for Peterborough, what would of been the greater implications of this for the 2019 election and the British political landscape in general. I feel like this could of had a substantial impact, as Peterborough has traditionally been a bellweather constituency so i can see the Brexit Party doing a lot better, quite possibly deciding to stand in Conservative Constituencies like they were planning on origionally. Could this see the Conservatives do a lot worse in 2019? loosing more seats to BXP and the Lib Dems?
