The hairstyle's too iconic — we can easily tell who the guy is behind the censor bars.
Well clearly, but if you're gonna have to put censor bars over him so you could post it here wouldn't it just make sense to make an alternative version with some other figure, similar to the guy you can't depict? That's how I would do it at least.

Makes sense to me — I was actually agreeing with you on that first point, though I probably could've phrased it better.

i don't want to have to change it cause if you replace it it loses the point of what i am going for, and if I post it in POLCHAT it gets 0 interaction yup yup

As hilarious as that is, if you keep skirting the no current politics rule a certain West Coast mammal might conclude that the rule can’t be enforced and move this entire thread to PolChat. Happened to the list thread.

Not to pile on, but isn't Obama current pol? He seems fairly involved from what I've seen.
The common baseline, at least for American politics and someone can correct me if I'm wrong, is the last 2 presidential elections (So 8 years prior). So Obama would be fine but the Republicans wouldn't. Also Tim Kaine should probably be censored or replaced considering he's in that range and a sitting senator, but I think the modern politics rule is only really put into use when it's someone people complain about and I don't anyone cares enough about Kaine to complain.

So you know its against the rules, but you want your work to get attention, therefore you knowingly break the rules?
Pretty selfish, shitty behaviour there.

Thank you, as a Brit i often wonder what in The US is considered Current Pol, I assumed Obama as I think 11Labs removed his, Biden, Bush's voices for this election?

Crawford-Gallatin 1824

View attachment 915849
A while back, I learned that Albert Gallatin was originally nominated to serve as William H. Crawford's running mate. However, Gallatin withdrew the nomination and Nathaniel Macon was chosen instead.

This infobox is basically is Albert Gallatin did not withdraw from the nomination and remained as William Crawford's running mate.
I suspect that Gallatin's nomination would have been challenged in court.

He was the citizen of a state at the time the Constitution was ratified, what room for a challenge would there be?
He was a citizen of a state at the time of ratification, but the exact phrasing is still vague. There's a reason why Hamilton was never a Federalist presidential candidate.

I don’t think it’s that vague?

No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President;

I’m sure there’d be strong nativist sentiment against Gallatin, maybe enough for some states to bar him from their ballots, but this is pretty clear I think.
