This [[World War II]] started as OTL and diverged with [[Adolf Hitler (Hitler's Mediterranean Strategy)|Hitler]] attacking [[Britain (Hitler's Mediterranean Strategy)|Britain]] in the Mediterranean ([[Malta (Hitler's Mediterranean Strategy)|Malta]], [[Cyprus (Hitler's Mediterranean Strategy)|Cyprus]], [[Egypt (Hitler's Mediterranean Strategy)|Egypt]]) in late spring 1941. It was ended with the [[United States of America (Hitler's Mediterranean Strategy)|US]] dropping the nuke on Oldenburg and Graz in August 1945 and on Niigata and Nagasaki in September 1945 respectively. Although the resulting world is still split into a democratic-capitalist and a communist block, the further is definitely stronger than OTL.
