List of Alternate Monarchs and Aristocratic Lineage II

Very interesting! Does Henry V keep the throne then? Since I think Arthur of Lancaster would be chosen over Henry Tudor, but you have him as a Duke not a King.
I’m imagining that a stronger Lancastrian succession keeps the Yorks from taking the throne, as Humphrey likely isn’t charged/framed with treason without the Eleanor Cobham debacle. His remarriage to a cousin of the Queen’s keeps everyone close without tying him to any domestic allies that could spark anything, and Henry VI’s insanity is handled better here, with York’s being brought into the fold via a marriage between Gloucester’s son and his daughter. By the time Edward of Westminster is old enough to take over his father’s Regency, everyone is a lot less suspicious of everything and Henry VI formally steps down during a lucid moment.

Alice’s marriage to the Holy Roman Emperor also strengthens the Lancastrian front, and her daughter’s marriage to Edward of Westminster is (I imagine) one of the last things Henry, Duke of Lancaster is able to get through, although it’s carried out by York. Tudor may not even marry Margaret Beaufort here, with a stronger legitimate Lancastrian succession.

King Edward VIII (20 January 1936 - 28 May 1972) [1]
Queen Elizabeth II (28 May 1972 - 14 October 1981) [2]
King Charles III (14 October 1981 - 31 August 1997) [3]
King Edward IX (31 August 1997 - 14 August 2019) [4]
Queen Elizabeth III (14 August 2019 - present) [5]

[1] King Edward VIII refused to abdicate over his marriage to Wallis Simpson and Prime Minister Stanley Baldwin called for a new election in 1937 which resulted in new Labor Party leader Oswald Mosley (elected in 1923 ITTL) becoming Prime Minister. The UK still enters WWII with France against Germany but in
1940 the British surrenders to Nazi Germany. Charles Lindbergh was elected President of the United States and in 1941 America declared war on only Japan for Pearl Harbor, and also refused the Soviet Union any aid. Nazi Germany swiftly defeated the Soviets by 1946. The rest of Edward VIII's reign was mostly unremarkable as the new world order began to take shape with friendly relations being opened with the Greater German Reich and the Neo-Roman Empire. Edward VIII died in 1972 after 36 years on the throne.

[2] Princess Elizabeth became Queen in 1972 upon the death of her uncle. She served an unremarkable 9 years as Queen until she was assassinated by a mentally unwell man. Her mother the Queen Mother would outlive her significantly becoming one of the oldest people to ever live dying in 2018 aged 118.

[3] Prince Charles took the throne with the assassination of his mother. Him and his wife Queen Tricia (married 1972) were darlings for the British media. They were very popular with the British people up until their untimely death in 1997. On a trip to Paris the Royal Family of King Charles III, Queen Tricia, Prince William, and Prince Christopher died in a fatal car crash believed to have been caused by mass paparazzi.

[4] The deaths of the British Royal Family struck the UK with utter surprise. It was Prince Andrew who became King in the wake of their deaths. He took the name of his great-uncle, Edward IX. Two years into his reign he met Jeffrey Epstein. Years later upon Epstein's mysterious death in jail and his arrest for sex trafficking King Edward IX thought it best to abdicate.

[5] Princess Beatrice took the royal name of her grandmother, Elizabeth III. She is mostly popular in the UK.

no way in Hell. Her parents marriage- if legitimate- would be morganatic by German standards. Not to mention that she wouldn't have the much desired Anjou blood claim to Naples that Friedrich was after.

Interesting scenario!

Some questions:
  1. What’s the reason behind Marie Zéphyrine marrying Gustav III of Sweden?
  2. Considering Russia’s historical rivalry with Sweden, why would Tsar Peter IV marry a Swedish princesss?
  3. Any ideas for whom Charlotte Sophia could marry?
  4. Who did Paul I of Russia marry ITTL?

Oh?
Because her being Catholic will be the biggest issue. France won't let her convert and under Swedish law then in force, she was required to be Protestant.

I'm not sure such a match would be considered. Joseph II was determined for his nephew to marry a German-Auguste of Hesse-Darmstadt, Karoline of Brunswick and Elisabeth of Württemberg were the top three positions. And for a second wife, she'd be the century' s definition of a spinster.

Again, the religion issue is hat suppers it. Sweden won't allow her to convert (two of the proposed matches for Gustav III's sister were blocked because they were to Catholics), and Habsburg house law requires the Empress, wife of the heir to be a Catholic.

Guessing Catherine the Great is dead or deposed earlier that Paul's allowed to name his eldest son after his dad?
