  1. Base Maps from 550 BC to Modern Day, all in UCS!

How would I go about to indicate an unclear border that is frequently contested, but not in an all out war manner in a thinly populated area such as the ural mountains or the sahara - say something like border skirmishes along the ural mountains? Kinda partisan/guerilla type. So neither power...

Ah, thank you. I'll think about that, I may ditch it though because I don't really want to show claims. Thanks for clearing that up :)

I am building a "final" map for say 1950 after an Western Axis victory scenario atm, and I want to build a USSR in the far east including Manchuria as a result - I am having a quibble with basemaps in between though. Let's say Nationalist China still exists in the southern half of today's china...

I always like balkanized US maps... Here's a question/challenge to the rest: Do you have a maps for a balkanized US that survived to this day? Say, a follow up this map in 2012? I would love how these fledgling states dealt with the unconquered west, mexico et al!

Very very interesting map series there :) I very much like the Groß-Lippe there, or is it Groß-Ravensberg? in the early maps. Either way, much to my liking ;) The borders of united germany, not so much. Must. include. Prussia. :D

Sensible Axis wank. I like it very much. Say, are Francoist Iberia and Italy still german allies, or did they depart after WW2? Also, did they help in the fall of France, or was it basically a germanowank as IRL?

It's crazy, right? So much ingenuity, so much creativity. Even these "random" maps look amazing. I'd certainly pay for a collection of Munro maps myself.

Fantastic work as always, Bruce. You hinted at my Germanic forefathers, but I did not see any of them on the map. Are they turkeyfied, or pushed westward? Where would they be now, unless completely assimilated?

Is it bad that I find that saddening? I want my meters of snow in northern germany

Do you think? I think the indians will dread the 200 million hungry bangladeshis who will likely swarm the border. Plus China seems way more organized compared to rather messy India. But yeah, most people won't realize how little searise is needed to disrupt everything we know. What I...

I found it always weird when we say Frankfurt am Main, we never say Frankfurt an der Oder but Frankfurt (Oder) instead. I found it only fair to write Frankfurt (Main) ;) And I was being generous even, giving us a 40 year preparation. But I agree. Europe I can see even continuing to...

The Great Catastrophe I hope the map won't get lost on this page... EDIT: Hah made it first post. Phew. Anyway, this is a rather quick and dirty central europe map after a rise of the worlds oceans by 60 meters, set in 2050. __________________________________ The Great Catastrophe...

I like, though i'd love a take on a bigger map. I find it it weird though that germany get's sliced into many small pieces, while spain, france and such much receive smaller cuts. I would think one would actually cut the countries into roughly equally sized portions (either population...

I really like it - yet why is France not fascist/german puppet like Britain? I assume Britain didn't even need an invasion, yet France which was occupied seems de-Gaulleist in the UN camp? Also how would you describe the situation of german political affairs? Military/technocratic...

Hence you got my vote. this would be about as much as one realistically can see with a telescope in space.

http://aurorawiki.pentarch.org/index.php?title=Main_Page You will need at least 24-48 hours to get to the basics. It's a hard learning curve (and no graphics!), but it's worth it!
