    Canadian Amapa?

I like your New English series, I really do. I appreciate all the effort you put into it. One question though, those two districts on the Avalon Peninsula, are they meant to be for St. John's? If they are, they aren't in the right spot, as St. John's faces out to the ocean, not Conception Bay.

There actually is a Kansas City in Kansas, right across the river from the Missouri city.
  4. Base Maps from 550 BC to Modern Day, all in UCS!

Oh fuck me, I got my dates mixed up. :o
  5. Base Maps from 550 BC to Modern Day, all in UCS!

I take it that that is your reasoning for not showing the North-West Territory and Rupert's Land, but British Columbia was a full-fledged colony and should be shown. As was Vancouver Island, but I don't know if you want to try and fit a grey line in the Georgia Strait.

I've noticed there are a lot of issues with historical boundaries in Canada in our maps, largely due to people basing them off the Wikipedia ones. Natural Resources Canada has a series of handy maps that we perhaps should base the borders off instead.
  7. St. Pierre and Miquelon taken by Canada after France falls

What Dathi said. They'd be seized from Vichy and given back to Free France. The only way they are held onto long term is in a Nazi victory scenario, in which the Free French forces falter and de Gaulle dies from something early on. In such a scenario an annexation referendum would likely be...

Why, if you are focusing on one little area, are you using that basemap? You should at least upgrade to the QBAM. Allows for more detail.
  9. What Would The Ideal NHL Look Like?

Since most things I'd change are back before the Original Six era, not much. One thing would be to not have the head offices leave Montreal, keeping the league Canadian. It should be noted, for whoever reads that report, that Markham has greenlit the construction of a new 20,000 seat...
  10. Challenge: Alliance names other than "Entente", "Central Powers", "Allies" and "Axis"

The Quebec Pact: Also known by the acronym QCP or the French equivalent PVQ, was a military alliance formed between Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States at a meeting of their respective leaders in Quebec City in 1943. The Pact formalized the cooperation between the three in their...

Upwards of 100,000 live in that area in OTL, so depending on what the history of the area is in Lascupa's world, there's no real reason for it to do that. Especially with all the oil and mineral wealth.

Dr. Thande posted a tutorial three years ago which details how to do just that on MS Paint.
  13. Small OTL History Questions thread (Before 1900)

Seward had this hairbrained idea that having Alaska would pressure BC into joining that republic. BC instead joined Canada. Pretty much the only people in BC who wanted Yankee annexation were the Yanks that came for the gold, but they were denied political rights and most left when the gold...

Awesome! Can't wait to see the TL you're making that corresponds with it!

You don't like the idea of an Egyptian immigrating to this land, settling in Halifax, and suspiciously having the exact same political career as Alexa McDonough of OTL while at the same time having the same family members as OTL? All inspired by the fact his Egyptian political party had the same...
