  1. Proposals and War Aims That Didn't Happen Map Thread

The dream did not die quickly though, as Hugo Preuss had Bremen, Hamburg, and Lübeck united into Hansestädte as one of his proposed 16 Gebiete in 1919.
  2. Why the Chinese play cricket (an Imperial Federation timeline)

I was thinking more that in such a case, Dominions would begin appointing longer-term representatives, which would then evolve into a pseudo-parliamentary thing, but apparently left that out previously.
  3. Why the Chinese play cricket (an Imperial Federation timeline)

I think this can also be used a precedent for if the subsequent Imperial Conference three months later deadlocks; just keep doing it - have another Imperial Conference in Britain (or wherever) every three months. Though this line of thinking suggests that in times of world crisis that an...

Everything we have is in the Index. If it's not there, try looking and asking in the Request Maps/etc. thread.

Thanks for saying you'll do that as I've been making sure to add those you've posted here to the index.
  6. Why the Chinese play cricket (an Imperial Federation timeline)

To quote Churchill: "The mishap which destroyed the Mayfly, or the Won't Fly, as it would be more accurate to call it, at Barrow, was a very serious set-back to the development of Admiralty policy in airships."

This is "ranger" as in park ranger, literally protect-forest-personnel. You probably meant Yóuqíbīng (遊騎兵), which is the usual translation of ranger as in the U.S. Army Rangers. With a name like that, how could they be surprised when it was quickly destroyed.
  8. What names would British monarchs likely have if no Hanoverians?

This is a relaunch of @LeinadB93 's Hail, Britannia. The original thread is still linked in the signature.
  12. Hail, Britannia: A New History

In States by Global Democracy Index, I assume that grey (British Ovamboland) means "No Information" but what does black (in the Netherlands East Indies) mean?
  13. What names would British monarchs likely have if no Hanoverians?

I could see regnal names alternating between James and Henry, similar to the Danish practice with Christian and Frederick. Another name option is Arthur, used for the second sons of both James IV and James V of Scotland and the eldest son of Henry VII of England.
  14. Hail, Britannia: A New History

My initial suspicion is a simple "the Empire", as that was the other option discussed with The Imperial "Ecu Complete" that I posted in the previous thread when the Imperial British coat of arms was being developed.
  15. Hail, Britannia: A New History

Watching. I'm very interested to know about the changed flags and coats of arms of the British Empire compared to the previous versions, as those are what I provided most of my advice about in the previous thread.
