I'll give my two cents on this campaign. Like with the Confederacy, the California republic cannot get supplies and materials passed the Union blockade. They are able to smuggle materials through the borders and wilderness areas between Canada and Mexico to bring in many alternative supplies...

I imagine many different wars for secession until the Confederacy destroys itself. There is bloody war to prevent further secession of other states which ultimately fragments the government even further. I may even see the government breaking up into four or five different republics.

This is not the point? What does a military campaign look like?

I personally have long felt Qui-Gonn should've been fused into an older Obi-Wan Kenobi. It makes him a wiser character.

It was a gut reaction to invade Iraq. The war resolution authorizing the invasion came almost a year after 9/11 had occurred in 2002. I personally believe it was more about Bush trying to save face to the rest of the world and Americans from the humiliation of having allowed the largest attack...

I know this never would've been plausible, but what would've happened to Iraq today if the Americans had been able to stabilize and establish the new government country enough to withdrawal as planned within eighteen months?
