  1. Stalin Dies July 1st, 1942

Rule by committee? During a war?
  2. Challenge: More of East Asia comparable to Western Europe

What would happen if Sukarno is eliminated?
  3. Reagan diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 1987

Technically, they couldn't have a diagnosis of Alzheimer's in 1987 unless he died... The early stages of the disease are fairly easy to cover up, especially with others cooperating. I agree with the poster who said it would be labeled as a Democrat smear campaign. At most, it could be a flap...
  4. WI: Hybrid Religions?

Religions always cross fertilize (though they generally deny it:rolleyes:). The western religions have interacted like a Hapsburg family tree. For a near example of a "hybrid religion", how about Sikhism?
  5. No HIV/AIDS Emergence

That honor would go to herpes, which was The Big One before being supplanted by AIDS. Among the people who would have lived longer is Isaac Asimov (who got it from a transfusion). He'd probably have lived to 2005 or so.
  6. WI: Protocols of the Elders of Zion never published

No difference at all, I say.:( Some people have to hate, and are quite able to make up their own justifications for it. If Protocols of Zion isn't published, something similar will be made up elsewhere.
  7. WI No British Empire?

Considering Ireland's geographic position, the only way for it to not be dominated by a Great Britain power is for England to never become a power at all. This is entirely possible, of course, although it may require a POD before 1066.
  8. How much of Europe and North Africa could a Persian empire realistically hold?

Nitpick: the Libyan coast was not desert at the time. Otherwise correct, though.
  9. Oklahoma in the Confederacy

Then expect a lot of Union meddling.
  10. WI: US decides to decapitate the snake?

Annoying nitpick: the Germans never got to Moscow, so there wasn't any street fighting there.
  11. Could Rommel have survived the purge?

That's an importent point-his family are hostage.
  12. WI: US decides to decapitate the snake?

I think they wanted relatively undamaged cities so there wouldn't be any doubt what the nuke could do.
  13. Terms for Japanese Surrender in 1942/43 and long term consequences

The Japanese Empire keeps Korea, Formosa, and its Micronesian islands. What's most interesting is what part Japan plays in the Cold War (assuming the Cold War happens, which is fairly likely in my opinion).
  14. Asian colonisation of the Americas?

The geography of North America's west coast does not lend itself to eastward expansion, and has been said any Chinese colonies in California or the Puget Sound will probably be abandoned by the mother country. They might survive, but be quite culturally distinct by the time Europeans find them.
  15. WI- No Jews

Another religion that wouldn't exist would be Manichaeism. A question would be if Zoarastrianism, or a derivation of it, would take up prostelyzing. The Turks will probably eventually come, and may become Zoarastrians. The Mongol conquests are of course butterflied (no Temujin), but some Central...
