The Wyrmcrieg
Part 3: The War of Three Kings
1292-1294 marks the pivotal conclusion of the Wyrmcrieg. No longer a simple dynastic civil war, it marked now a fork in the path of England’s history; would they march straight ahead to continued rule of the Ænglisk under the House of Aldraic with...

The Wyrmcrieg
Part 1: The Boy Kings
The Red Invasion of 1231, also known as “King Edmund’s War” or the “Red Restoration” was the first major conflict of the multi-generational conflict known to most historians as the Wyrmcrieg, the Dragon War. The two branches of the House of Hardrada went by...

History is rarely kind to the good natured and the bold Cnut II, once described by a biographer as “puppylike” in temperament, was a victim of the cruel complexities of fate. A great...

With Surprising Ease
That the conquest of 1066 would permanently reshape England as a nation and the English as a culture was never an historical inevtiability. Conquerors had arrived on England’s shores before, mostly losing their grip...
Threadmarks: Introduction and Rulers Lists - Harald Hardrada | 1066-1079
This was originally published over on the Shared Worlds forum (as you may know) as part of a succession game. There's been some interested in a trimmed down version of the TL, without the debate, so it can be shared around. In the future, I may actually do something of a Remaster - not a total...
Seems very cool, I love Graphics TLs that properly diverge and give us an insight into a world totally different from our own. Looking at Columbia here and those borders to the west, I think we're in for something very unique!
I cannot be sufficiently effusive about this series, I really do think it's wonderful and frankly one of the best little TLs I've ever seen on here. Bravo many times over.
Aha has ended up looking very similar to the above (very impressive) compilation/design but here's my new compilation of flags from my SG/TL This Sceptred Isle as of 1816. This shows the flags of the Brytisk Empire, it's nations (Rics), regions (Amter) and colonies (Kolonis).

I just adore this series, really can't emphasise that enough. One of the most creative and fascinating first contact stories I've ever encountered, I wish I could find some full length fiction that matched it!
Hope to see more!
A little snapshot of my "Fear Nothing But God" TL that I otherwise haven't updated since like uuuuuuuuuuuuh May? But this was for a competition over on SLP and just won! I'm very happy with how it came out, though there are a handful of typos.
