  1. Proposals and War Aims That Didn't Happen Map Thread

I think if you were to split off the Mojave/Socal section into a quadrangle that abuts the Colorado, and possibly split off the northernmost sections of Norcal (roughly a natural line from the Bay to Tahoe) you would end up with the most aesthetically pleasing set of Californias possible.

Were there any proposals that actually accounted for the Sierra Madre? I feel like that is the most natural eastern border that exists for California.

About Korea: based on the fact that the Japanese Empire built the industrial sector OTL for colonial extraction, I assume that Korea ITTL is effectively an economic vassal of Japan?

    Yangtze Delta, too.

Or the British Empire is the inevitable realpolitik enemy of Russia, and it doesn't actually matter what kind of government either superpower has.

A map of a (mostly) West/South Slavic central European Empire, with a POD during the crisis of the Third Century. The early breakup of Rome into three states ends up creating three much more stable and durable empires, especially the Gallic Empire, which largely weather the Germanic invasions by...
  7. Hadrian's Consolidation - reboot

Hecatee, are there any socio-economic shifts happening to redistribute the immense wealth stratification in the empire so as to prevent the emergence of the proto-feudal rural estates? Increasing the overall flow of money and allowing for the emergence of a proper middle class that can spend on...

Is the border between Upper Connecticut and the Upper Country the Black River?
  9. Affiliated States of Boreoamerica thread

Considering how more decentralized NA is, and how the ASB itself evolved, I would imagine that there would be way more successful native and metis states on the Great Plains. I'd also imagine that Mexico would have a great deal of trouble maintaining control over super-Tejas.

The cross one is nice, though.

Wouldn't the Gulfs of Bothnia and Hudson Bay (and the Great Lakes) not exist without Ice Age glaciation?

That's from the Atlas of Middle-Earth, thing's awesome.

I do like some parts of the book, such as the silent prayer machines, that completely miss the point of prayer and try to theologically game the system.
  14. Map Thread XIII

The book explicitly states that the Baptists are being persecuted as heretics, and the Appalachians are in full-blown guerilla revolt. Handmaiden's Tale is not particularly realistic (see "radical christian coup somehow succeeds after machine-gunning the Congress and the President without the...

This is kind of a weird request, but does anyone have the weird west map that (I think) SRegan made, with the fundamentalist republics?
