28 Days Later - Death of a Nation

Depends how radioactive you want that moat to be. (Project Plowshare) Canonically, can rage zombies swim? They aren't 'technically' zombies, so they should retain the ability to cross 7 meters of water fairly easily. As long as there is something on the other side to properly motivate them to...

Solar Dreams: a history of solar energy (1878 - 2025)

That's how I got here. This is a great timeline. I love the Turtledoves. So many great fics I missed all lined up in a row for me.

The Extra Girl: For the first heaven and the first earth were passed away.

Such power concentrated away from the cities into the rural areas should make for a pretty conservative country. Though the effect might well be tempered by the fact that a lot of the Western districts are approaching 'micro' in size. A single city in a rural district can easily outnumber any...

I was rooting for Koerbelitz. Glad it worked out for him.

The Death of Russia - TL

Would it actually be better? I think it would be quite a money sink, especially in the beginning.

The Extra Girl: For the first heaven and the first earth were passed away.

I do appreciate the glimpse of an even more dysfunctional Netherlands a few days before the election. Really puts those dismal polls into perspective.

"Where Are We Going This Time": The Golden Age of Science Fiction

That was some ride. It took me a few days to work through it, but I loved it.

An Eye Looks Towards The West: A Jewish Colony in the Caribbean.

It absolutely is, but the most common form of pictures used with timelines are portraits, maps, and paintings straight from wiki. And they work just as well for engagement and world-building than most things handmade.

An Eye Looks Towards The West: A Jewish Colony in the Caribbean.

I like AI images. If it's not integral to the story and just serves as a nice decoration to a chapter, why would you put too much effort into it? Not everything needs to be the Mona Lisa.

Seven Days to the River Rhine: the Third World War - a TL

The problem with MAD always was in how it presupposed rational actors on both side.

    Jiyu Banzai! A Japanese Timeline

Belgium can never catch a break. Though seeing France go through a coup is probably a nice bit of schadenfreude for Belgium and Germany.

Seven Days to the River Rhine: the Third World War - a TL

I'm not sure. They didn't actually get that far before the nukes started flying. With the element of surprise this seems plausible enough.

Seven Days to the River Rhine: the Third World War - a TL

Honestly why spend too many warheads on countries that small and insignificant. In the Netherlands they already hit Brunssum, Leeuwarden and Eindhoven. You next take out Amsterdam, Rotterdam and the Hague, and the country is pretty much done already. Enough people and cities left to form a...

    Orange Tempest

It's been 8 years. We figured. Still a great timeline though. Think I'll take the opportunity to read again.
