Prosperity theology is actually pretty big in Africa. It's becoming increasingly hard to find Protestant churches in Kenya (from my experience) that don't exhibit shades of it.
I really don't think that is central to the organization's ethos, though. The DLC was a lot more than Bill Clinton so he shouldn't necessarily be the plumb line. There will be a moderate range of ideologies, just like in the OTL Democratic party.
Anyway, Paul Tsongas also supported the death...
What issues are you talking about specifically? DLC was very economics-focused. Where would he disagree with this:

How likely is it that a President, who is always traveling in a heavily reinforced car in a large convoy, is actually killed in an accident? I see this type of POD frequently, but it doesn't strike me as very likely. Stairs would probably be more fatal.
Representative Scott Garrett (R-NJ) was also not at the inauguration.

Governor Rod Blagojevich (D-IL) skipped too.

Most Senate vacancies will be filled by Governors - some may appoint themselves, but it obviously won't be all of the seats. As I mentioned a couple posts ago, the most senior Democratic Senator could very well be Al Franken. But I can't find a list of which Senators or Representaatives did NOT...
One new member of Congress who wasn't at the inaugrtation was Al Franken. By this point he was certified the winner but tied up in appeals by the Coleman campaign (which in OTL didn't get wrapped up until late June 2009). In light of the national tragedy I have to beieve/hope Minnesota...
There is probably enough out there. Honestly, I didn't know how to categorize the 2004 Democratic candidates and that's why I didn't start (also I think there are different districts for NC and GA and I didn't want to deal with that). Dean+Kuchinich+Sharpton still probably only gets 1...
That would be interesting to see, and has probably been made by someone on the Atlas Forums already. However, I think it would disrupt the trends through these maps even more. Take, for instance, ancestrally Democratic states like West Virginia and Kentucky. A majority of voters there still...
