First, Austria getting flattened by a massive super-Hungary in a 1337 war, then, Autrian involvement in a series of wars initiated by a crazily agressive House of Bourbon, then, Austrian involvement in the HYW. :D Now, I have no idea how this happened...

I think he goes too far. There's a very clearly demarcated line between helping someone new get better at mapping and personally insulting them. If Krall had been around when I started mapmaking, I wouldn't have continued.

Now that you've made me think of it a bit more, I think I agree with you (a first!). It would be better if it didn't split the focus by putting stars in the opposite corner. Just having the canton would look good, too.

But there is one officially sanctioned symbol, which upsets the balance and decreases the variety as people switch over to the "real" symbol.
