I think Britain's overall intelligence efforts should be labelled under the Directorate of Military Intelligence (DMI), which was the overall War Office department that was in charge of the various sections.

I don't think the fact that they managed to reach a treaty settlement is any sort of victory or accomplishment considering what America set out to do when it invaded Canada. It would be if Britain had started the war with the intention of conquering America, but they didn't.
