What if Heuy long wasn't assianted when he was, He decide to run for the white house. What were the chances of long winning the election. Who would be his vice-president?

Long planned to run as an indepedent in 1936 in order to cost Roosevelt the election. He would have run and won as a Democrat in 1940, Being that he was not Roosevelt he most likely would not have gotten us into Europe after the bombing of Pearl Harbor and would not have armed the British or Soviets.

Long felt that the New Deal was to watered down and didn't help the poor as Roosevelt had promised and you could even go so far as to say the king fish was the first modern Socialist who had a snowballs chance at winning.
