AH challenge: Communist insurgency in Mexico
Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to have a Communist insurgency in Mexico (not just some part of it) on at least Colombia's level by the present day with a POD no earlier than 1984. Bonus points if it's successful in overthrowing the government.
