The pilot would sit in the middle to back of the black part, that is the cockpit. It also serves as an escape pod and, depending on how I work space launch, may be how the pilot gets to the launch deck (think SAAB). |

I like the logo, it's realistic looking, but at the same time does'nt look like any current ones (and I've looked at all the OTL roundels). Last edited by Iori; May 25th, 2009 at 03:06 PM.. |

Yea, I like the B.A.R. too but the lack of ammo really makes it kind of sucky. I sort of got the idea of the B.A.R. rifle/belt fed hybrid from the British TADEN gun - a post war attempt to convert the BREN gun into a belt fed weapon.

So I'm thinking of designing and building this toy gun, and I thought some of you could provide some insight (guns count as alternate weapons of war, right?
).What I had envisioned was that it will shoot cork stoppers, and work from a spring system in which the "bolt" of the gun will be pulled back, cocking the spring, while a cork is placed inside. Upon manually closing the bolt, the spring is cocked and ready to go. My main dilemma here is making it simple enough that it will work, and figuring out the trigger system. I plan on using mostly wood and some light aluminum, TiG welded. Any thoughts on this? And does anyone have any experience with technical drawings? |

Here you got EdT. I gave it my best shot at doing a top down view for you. It's not the best but it's as close as i think i'm going to get it. Its slightly larger in scale (sorry my bad) but hopefully should be good enough.
I'm also reposting the side on view which I have fixed in certain places. Russell. |

Wow, that means the fighter is pretty damn big. More like a gunboat.

Ok could someone design a battleship for me? It's to be called the King Edward Class. The TL has no WW1 or WW2 so it is unlikely to have huge amounts of AA guns on it (that doesn't mean none tho). Hull Displacement 59000 tons and the only requirements are that it have good armour and at least 8 18 inch guns, arranged as you will.
Can anyone do that for me?

Looks quite good, except for the flag. Massive thanks to Russell, who designed this tank for me...
This is the Mikulin/Beriev PZ-6, the Imperial Russian Army's primary infantry hengst (*tank). Originating in the famous design bureau at the Kharkov Locomotive Factory, the vehicle has its roots in the Holt Hotspur, several hundred of which were built in Russia under license in the late 1920s as part of the Anglo-Russian mutual defence treaty of 1925. The PZ-6 entered production too late to see the beginning of the Great War, but soon saw combat along the Vistula and Amur rivers in the winter of 1933, and shortly afterwards during the siege of Warsaw. While an effective vehicle for supporting infantry, the PZ-6 was completely outclassed when opposed by faster, more manouvrable German and Chinese hengsts; nontheless, its rugged design, reliablilty and interchangable components made it popular with Russian troops from central Anatolia to Khabarovsk. |
