No Jewish Revolt

The Romans go softer on the Jews, so they never rise up agaist them in 66, what do you think would have been the consequence? (I'm pretty sure that either the second temple would either still stand now or would have been destroy in other circonstence)

Given that there were revolts against them prior to 66, the Romans are going to really nice to avoid trouble. No doubt that is going to have to include reduced/no taxation, no support for their allies in the Herodian dynasty and accept a state on their frontier that could convert to a Parthian ally at a moment's notice. In addition the Jews would have to behave theirselves at Passover, stop believing in a Messiah to rid them of foreign overlords and get all the Sicarrii/Zealots to realise that violance is not the way forward.

Judaea became part of the Roman Empire because Herod was a wily diplomat and statesman. He knew that if he did not join the Romans, they would invade anyway and he would lose the crown he had managed to get his hands on.
