Later that year he will pay dearly for that decision as he, Vice President William L. Dayton and Secretary of State John McLean are all assassinated, leaving independent Nathaniel P. Banks as the President of the United States, in a political move, he created “The American Party” and invited all the moderates to cross the floor in order to create a cabinet comprising of former members of both parties.

This map will be important for the upcoming Fenian rebellions.

I would love some feedback on this, I used a cluster of PODs so it is not easy to pick out the inciting event. Also most of the wars seemed to have been swept forward a little bit in the narrative (backwards in the timeline).

I will try and post up until 1870 this evening.
