So how's your BAM coming Diamond? I've been most impressed with you've done so far. |

Here is the blank map I used - sorry it doesn't have OTL borders. But they aren't too hard to figure out.

Hey, this is exactly what I've been looking for! One request though: could you possibly make one zoomed in on North America with the county lines in only California, Texas, and Florida, and one zoomed in on Europe? Thanks in advance!

Since the dawn of time...
well, Since Brother Shadow Knight first posted the North American BAM, I have dreamed of a bigger North American map, a true BAM to equal the Euro-BAM. Tonight, ladies and gentlemen, I present to thee, the rough copy of the true, North American BAM, that once complete, will rival the Euro-BAM, and shun the North American LAM (as it will now be known) into obscurity: Keep in mind that this is the first copy, there are still several things to clean up on it. |

Truly a work of art there Brother Scarecrow. Once completed you'll have achieved true master BAM status. Question did you use a 5x5 degree section on creation of the map? Eh that programs used to make those maps messes up severely around the 60 degrees North (presumable South also) at the really close (smaller degrees say around a 5x5 grid) where at around 10x10 you can get the map program to work at the higher latitudes. |

Because of the nature of the Mercator map, the Northern regions are streched way out of proportion, so I had to trim it. I may extend it north so that it gets All of BC, Alberta et al, not sure yet.

5x5? its at 10x zoom of the orignal map. |

As all who come to know the BAM, Brother Scarecrow.
Yeah when I made the Europe BAM I used a 5x5 grid. For example it would a range of say 50 deg to 55 deg N and 0 deg to 5 deg East. |

OK I can understand it with my laptop here which is a few years old and overheats, but at home I've got one of the highest-spec PCs you can buy (a HP dual-processor Pentium D with more RAM than you can shake a stick at) and even that starts crying when it sees one of your BAMs
