Well the BAMs are like the largeer higher view of a good section of the globe, such as the NA BAM and this Pacific one (I even merged them with the Europe one at one point in time to get a whole global BAM...too big to post though.).

THE LAMs are a more close in view, typically positioned on one country or region, such as the maps of Central Europe or the Eastern Mediterranean.

so would a map of China, using the same scale as North America, be a LAM or a BAM?

Just China/East Asia probably a BAM. A LAM would be say just Eastern China plus a bit more, modern China size would not lend itself to being very postable due to upload pic size restraints.

Sadly can't say that I do. I might be able to whip something up in the next few weeks if you remind me, but I got finals next week and have a training class the bulk of this week at work leaving me not much time. (Bleh work and school!)

The problem is that it is too big size-wise to post. I have basically all of Europe (need to match up a bit in the Balkans and I do not have the Caucuses) but they are not all together.

Could you be more specific? There are plenty of blank world maps on the first few pages of this thread. As for the BAM version on the world, sadly it is too large to post in its entirety.

Umm...they why don't you just take one of those maps and erase the borders?

Tell me, how do you do those maps? Are they generated some how or did you find a master somewhere?
