Well, this is the election of 1888.

Just remember that Alfred Mahan prevented the CSA from building the Nicaragua Canal (Which did eventually get built in 1962.)

Vice-President: Thomas Brackett Reed, of Maine

Socialist Nomination

Vice-President: Charles Matchett, of Massachusetts

Much as I like the Republicans and Sherman I had to go with Mahan. After Blaine he was the first President (and first ever Democrat one) to stand up to the Rebels and Brits by opposing the construction of the Nicaragua Canal. That would have been bad for us and worse for the Nicaraguans.

Voted for Alfred Thayer Mahan, for he opposed the CSA's plan to build the Nicaragua Canal.

Oh, fuck... I'm the most unlucky poll-maker in the history of AH.com... Another draw... I appeal to you, please vote for either Mahan or Wing, to break the draw.

I can see the Republicans will get shafted yet again, to just one state...

Seriously, though, what's so bad about a tie? So you run three elections next week, no biggie.

I just don't like the idea of having to run one election again.

And now I see Wing pulling ahead, as expected.

Quick, someone tie up the vote so Blue has to run a third election next week!
