WI: Jewish state in Germany

Could you have gotten a Jewish state in Germany under any circumstances post WW2 instead of the middle east? It would make logical sense and would be tough for anybody to fight against.

Not really. While it could be argued that the Germans don't really have any option to refuse, I doubt the Jews would go for it.
At best, you might get a Jewish state within former German territory (East Prussia, for example), but that would depend on the USSR creating the state.

The only way Jews would flock there, is with using machine guns.

On a serious note - Jewish settlement took place in Palestine even before WW2 and was the destination Jews chose themselves - attempts at making a "Homeland for the Jews" elsewhere all ended in a failure. And the Palestinian Arabs did join the war on Germany's side by attacking British forces there, so they were a legitimate target for having some of their lands taken away and given to the Jews.

Not really possible. There is a small possibility with a German win in WW1 that Germany would have an autonomous Jewish region or Jewish majority state, but this was not the favored option.

Would you mind giving a source for these alleged attacks? Of course, how this would justify collective punishment is another matter.

Actually the Palestinian Mandate was the only territory where the Nazis did *not* find local auxiliaries. Whether or not this is because Palestinians were less sympathetic to Nazism or simply the legacy of the Palestinian Revolt in 1936-9 is a different question. The only people in Mandate Palestine bushwhacking the Allies were Irgun and Lehi. Admittedly there were mitigating circumstances.....

And that Jewish settlement you refer to was in reality a Rhodesia for Jews. With Palestinians being the Matabele.

Because the collective punishment of ethnic and national groups for the actions of despots and extremists is totally legitimate and never leaves any negative consequences. Totally.

If any territory is going to be given to the Jews post-War, it'll be East Prussia.

However, the Jews didn't want it, the Russians did, and the Germans and Poles didn't have a say in the matter.
