Another thing (possible flag challenge) - are there any "generic" Eastern European flags out there?

That is, flags that look Eastern European, but aren't actually reminiscent of one particular country.

Step 2. Make a horizontal tricolor out of them.

Or if you pick well, this one which doesn't represent any actual real-life entity. You could embelish it further of course but it would make it less generic probably.

This is a gorgeous flag. However, I find the use of the Nordic Cross to be..baffling. Why not use the Russian Naval Jack as a base?

Well a mixture of things. Firstly there was a nuclear war, so things got a little scrambled. The remnants of the Soviets government fled to Sweden (less cancer), so there was some Nordic unfluence. Most importantly though, the people running the mob thought it looked cool.

Thats what you get when you go on a whim . The original one i posted was a mirror image which i checked via flag identifier. After posting it, i looked at it a second time and thought it looked too much like bulgaria so i flipped it but didnt re check before uploading. My bad.
