Nation Displaced sounds cool, but so does Wandering Religions.

I like "Before and After" myself. But then I don't remember the others.

Well. How about my challenge? It is a good idea and a versatile one. How this?
39: A Nation Displaced
40: Before and After
41: Wandering Religions.

What was "A Nation Displaced" again?

EDIT: Never mind. I support it, as well as "Before and After".

I hope you mean that you're rooting for it. Otherwise, this'd be like the Avignon Papacy!

In that case, I think "A Nation Displaced" has the most support. Expect the new threads to be put up soon!

Hasn't it been only one week though? Why cut it short?

ARGH! I'M AN IDIOT!

All this week I've been thinking that this round was ending this weekend and getting really anxious about it, then I realised it was only halfway through and then managed to forget that realisation and somehow thought I was a week in the future!

Question: can I do an animated map for Nation Displaced? The history of the nations territory going all the way to the point where it loses its original territory?

If "A Nation Displaced" is still the most popular suggestion in a week, then yes you certainly can!

Well, after spending a lot of time at the Clubhouse, one's sense of time and space can easily get warped.

Did you know that B_Munro has won 8 rounds of MotF, whereas Krall and tormsen are in joint second place with only 3 rounds each?

Did you know that on July 21st the MotF contest will be two years old?

Did you know that Krall was chosen to be the contest administrator because he won the last MotF contest before the previous administrator, Leistungsfähiger Amerikan, had to back out because of internet issues?

Did you know that only once has the voting for a round of MotF resulted in a tie, and in that situation the tied contestants, Ares96 and LSCatilina, were given a choice of resolving their dispute in a one-on-one mapmaking contest, or a fierce firefight in the Gobi desert?

Well, you do now! Because I made a Wiki page for the MotF contest, as well as one with a list of the winners and the individual contest rounds themselves.

I believe it was Akkismat who made a Wiki page with a list of the contests on, but it didn't have a full explanation of what the MotF contest was, and it only provided links to the entry and voting threads, instead of listing the names, challenges and winners of each round. I decided to copy and expand on the list of links and now, after starting almost a week ago, I am finally done!

Enjoy!

Castles Made of Sand: Show a once mighty nation in the midst of its collapse. It can be an ATL nation or a nation in an ATL collapse.

Till the Red Dawn Comes: Show a war where one nation or alliance is hopelessly outnumbered or outmatched by its enemy, but still will go down fighting.

I, Being Poor, Have Only My Dreams: Show a small, underdog nation that has dreams of greatness; or show a nation once small that now has the means to achieve its designs.

And some others spinning around my head. Have we already done "a Mouse that roared" scenario?
