Please embolden the name of a challenge suggestion if you're expressing support for it - it makes it easier for me to skim the thread and see what's popular.

You would.

Prepare for tons of anti-anarchist rantings to occur though.

I have an idea; I just need to find some time to sit down and work on a map.

Also, I'd point out that "The Gun Is Our Government" is the topic of mine and Iserlohn's slow-motion map duel...

It should be noted that I say "I think I'll be able to enter this round!" basically every round.

Awesome! It'll be interesting to see what different disasters people have gone with.

Ah, yes. I believe I announced that a while ago - it's still possible to have it as both a main challenge topic and the topic of your Map Duel, even if it does make it a bit harder for you and Iserlohn to enter.

I've started a map for 64. Coupled with Time Constraints I might go for a restrained 'history book' style.

Geographically accurate maps of Egypt that don't have Lake Aswan on them are really hard to find, it seems!

How're the rest of you doing with your entries? And what challenge would the rest of you like to see for MotF 65?

For various reasons (Not being very active here anymore, haven't been in a very mappy mood, and despite suggesting it am a bit uncomfortable with the natural disaster theme) I'm skipping out on this one. I have at least one idea floating around in my head for it, so I'm throwing my support behind The Miracle for MotF 65.

It's Saturday, which means we really need to sort out what challenge we're going to choose for MotF 65! At the moment I think "The Gun is our Government" has the most support, but that's not saying much seeing as how few people have expressed support for any of the map challenges so far. I've got a few good ideas for "The Gun is our Government", so I'm leaning towards that at the moment - but what do the rest of you think? What challenge(s) do you want to see for MotF 65?

For those of you who still want to enter MotF 64, the entry period will - as always - remain open until the voting thread is posted some time tomorrow.

I'd like to see a rerun of "ALL ABOARD!" myself.

We still might need an extension for this week. Even if I get my entry in on time, that would only make three...

However, I kind of like The Locked Country for the next contest, whenever it turns out to be.

I generally only do extensions if several people say that they need it to get their entries done - otherwise there's a risk of the contest being extended, but with no new entries being submitted in the extended week.

So, is there anyone who needs or wants an extra week to get an entry done?

Well, it's Sunday, we haven't had any more entries, and we're still not sure which challenge to use for MotF 65. I think it's a good idea to extend this contest round for a week.

MotF 64: Air, Water, Earth, Fire has been extended by one week. The new deadline is Saturday 18th of August.

A question: am I permitted to enter a map that wasn't made for the contest, but hasn't been posted?
